Istikhara Dua English Translation

“O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and I seek strength through Your power, and I ask You from Your great bounty. For You have power, and I have no power. You know, and I do not know. You are the Knower of the unseen.

O Allah, if You know that this matter for which Istikhara is being performed is good for me in my religion, my worldly life, and the outcome of my affairs (or good for me in the present and in the future), then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and place blessings in it for me.

And if you know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my worldly life, and the outcome of my affairs (or bad for me in the present and in the future), then turn it away from me and turn me away from it. Then decree for me whatever is good, wherever it may be, and make my heart satisfied with it.”

The Prophet ﷺ said: “At the place of ‘this matter’, one should mention his specific need.” Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Hadith 1166

Istikhara Dua Urdu Translation

Eh mere Allah ! Main tujhse tere ilm ki badolat khair talab karta hu aur teri qudrat ki badolat tujh se taaqat mangta hu aur tere fazal e azeem ka talabgaar hu ke qudrat to hi rakhta hai aur mujhe koi qudrat nahi. ilm tujh hi ko hai aur mein kuch nahi jaanta aur to tamam posheeda baton ko janne wala hai.

Eh mere Allah agar to jaanta hai ke ye kaam jis ke liye istikhara kiya ja raha hai mere deen duniya aur mere kaam ke anjaam ke aitbaar se mere liye behtar hai (ya mere liye waqti taur par aur anjaam ke aitbaar se yeh behtar hai ) to isko mere liye naseeb kar aur is ka husool mere liye aasaan kar aur phir is mein mujhe barket ataa kar

Aur agar to jaanta hai ke yeh kaam mere deen, duniya aur mere kaam ke anjaam ke aitbaar se bura hai. (ya mere liye waqti taur par aur anjaam ke aitbaar se yeh bura hai ) to usko mujh se dur kar de aur mujhe bhi is se dur kar de. phir mere liye khair muqaddar farma de, jahan bhi woh ho aur is se mere dil ko mutmaen bhi kar day

Aap Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ke is kaam ki jagah apne kaam ka naam le . Sahih Bukhari, Vol 2,1166
